Don’t piss anyone off with emails
The secret to email is to follow the three C’s, presented below:
- Clarity - Above all people should know what you’re trying to say, make sure your emails make sense.
- Concise - Everyone gets a lot of emails, whether it’s from colleagues and friends, or from drug companies; don’t waste their time.
- Concrete - Subtlety does not work in email. You can’t say maybe through an email, either, the human component is not there. Whatever you say make sure it is not ambiguous.
If you liked this, send me an email, but make it good!

Need to stop staying up late programming…
Things on the way…
cuMTD is on the verge of being a team application.
Also have an idea under wraps (ask me!), once I get started building it, I will let you know what it is.
Paul's Online Math Notes are amazing
Wow.
The caliber of explanations on this site is amazing, so much better than most (if not all) textbooks I have seen.
Even better, because it is on the web it is non-linear, meaning you can start at one topic, and fill in the details you forgot (or were never taught).
Paul’s Math Notes +1
I only deeply learn by discovery
I just got gmail priority inbox!
The gmail team continues to amaze me… this feature is EXACTLY what email currently needs, that’s assuming it works
First CS225 MP done in one sitting… Very clean and flawless too :)
Now it’s time to sleep for class
